Bad Bunny took a playful shot at Roman Reigns.
Bad Bunny first got involved with WWE at Royal Rumble 2021. He then made several appearances on WWE RAW, and he won the 24/7 Championship. Bad Bunny made his official in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, where he and Damian Priest defeated The Miz and John Morrison.
Following a lengthy absence, the GRAMMY Award winner returned at WrestleMania 39 and started to feud with Priest and Dominik Mysterio. He then defeated Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash.
Speaking with Michelle Ruiz for Vanity Fair, the musical superstar playfully teased his interest in dethroning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
“My plan is to take the title from Roman Reign,” Bad Bunny said, with Ruiz noting that he “toys” with returning to WWE.
Per Ruiz, the former WWE 24/7 Champion also noted that he is “trying to avoid lucha libre”, as his last match was “just too painful.”
As of this writing, there is no word on if or when Bad Bunny will return to WWE.
Logan Paul Praises Bad Bunny
Logan Paul previously spoke highly of Bad Bunny. Speaking on Impaulsive, Paul shared his thoughts on Bad Bunny’s involvement with WWE.
“It’s hard, though. I think cajones is the right word,” Paul said. “Not a lot of people can do that. The difference [between us] is this, though. This is what I say to people who are trying to compare me and Bad Bunny in WWE. I wrestled in high school. I did sports and athletics. I am a YouTuber, but I’m an athlete. I was an athlete first, I always have been.
“I didn’t box before, but I wrestled. I can still surprise people because I’m a YouTuber first, but I was an athlete first. Bunny is a musician, dude. He has no business being as good as he is. He comes in there and he crushes it.”
Nick Khan previously discussed how Paul and Bad Bunny started working with WWE. Check out his comments here.
